Essence of Truth

Australian War Memorial Napier Waller Art Prize – Finalist 2024
Art Renewal Centre 17th International Salon – Semi-finalist 2024

Essence of Truth is a traditional oil-on-canvas painting of the floral arrangement that adorned my daughter’s wedding cake. The arrangement depicts the beauty of nature when viewed up close and contrasted against a dark, formless background. This provides a visual analogy of the beauty to be found in truth.
